Why did we name the company Johari?

Our name comes from a model that deals with blind spots in perception. This means that others know things that one is oblivious to. We at Johari have set ourselves the goal of uncovering blind spots in organizations. The challenge is to firstly identify important knowhow of the employees directly at the daily events. These are feedback, issues, problems and ideas. Secondly the challenge is to recognize hidden expertise and historical knowledge in time and to utilize them in a target driven manner.

Johari translates to “diamond”. As there is a valuable treasure to be unlocked inside companies, systems, and the minds of employees, this could not be more fitting. The treasure is internal Knowhow. Find it and deal with it appropriately and you unleash its great power. For this we have created our unique Operational Knowhow Workflow to tackle inefficiencies and streamline internal knowhow.

As a management tool we hold a mirror in front of companies and their teams. We enable oversight with our solution. Thus, we make Blindspots, Employee knowhow, Expert and Knowhow Networks as well as Weak Spots visible and let you continuously build upon these. The Operational Knowhow Workflow of Johari is designed to drive operational issues to better solutions as efficiently as possible.
