I am considering picking up an X Macro but, looking at it compared to the XL I'm wondering if there is much point to having both the XL and the macro, especially since I have the little P365 for times when deeper concealment is called for.

Mine has the built in comp. I can tell a difference between it and my XL. The difference is very subtle and if you aren't a very experienced shooter, doubt you could tell the difference.
