Jul 28, 2023 · An NSP file is missing a program type NCA if its internal structure has been compromised. This often occurs when an NSP file is extracted from an NRO (switch game), or when hacking the game. In either case, the required content for the game to work is stripped away, leaving you with just a single NCA file tucked into the main folder.
Note: always drill down to see the proper status of the DLC .nca file you are managing. Checking and unchecking the .nca file is the way to enable and disable the DLC. The parent container (.nsp file) shows unchecked by default, even if the DLC is enabled. Repeat this process, if you wish, for any other games you would like to manage DLC for.
