If there will be a third new weapon in the final game, I'll definitely try it from the get go. if not, well, I'll be forced to choose two starting weapons but I basically use most weapons in the game. The only ones that I get bored fast of are the axe and the odachi, where odachi is really my least fav weapon in the game.

On the start, really pick whatever, since most of the weapons will drop anyway (and you should receive a copy of each "demon horde" weapon anyway from boons).
