Oct 23, 2020 · I like the Bravo, but the X-ray is not the "chassis look" version of the bravo... its essentially the polymer/less adjustable version of the Whiskey-3. Completely different between the X-ray and the Bravo. Having held and handled a couple Bravo's, the X-Ray is definitely more like the Whiskey-3...which is why I got it.

TMW99577. I have had both the Titan and the Magpul, and neither were the quality of the KRG Bravo my Kidd/Lilja 10/22 is currently in. Between the two of them, however, the Magpul was hands down the better of the Titan. The Titan had terrible ergonomics and was not as well made as the Magpul. I am in need of some help making a decision. I just traded for a new CZ 457 Varmint 22 LR. I have narrowed my choices down to either the KRG Bravo or the MDT XRS. The only chassis I have ever owned was an Oryx. I know that I don't want to go that route again. As far as ergonomics go, they appear to be pretty close.As though the current stock designs weren’t enough, there are also hybrid stocks like the KRG Bravo, MDT XRS, Magpul Hunter, and recently released MDT HNT26 stocks which set a partial chassis and into a synthetic stock. I cant answer for MDT on this but I will tell you that you will want the adjustable latch if you will be switching back and forth between the AW and AICS magazines because the height will be different! The MDT skeleton buttstock is more precise with its adjustments vs the KRG offerings. I prefer the temperature insensitive polymer of the KRG during the winter. I also don't care about beating it up as much as I did with the cerakoted aluminum and carbon fiber of the LSS and ESS. It's a little bit apples and oranges. MDT XRS and KRG Bravo would be more comparable. Similar style, price, designed use, etc. Deciding on your two choices would be better rationalised by your own "style" preference than any perceived difference in "quality" between the two.
